• Quiet (no children), simple camping on a vineyard in Sussex

Relaxed, quiet camping for busy people who enjoy the outdoors

  • About Slightly Nomadic

We've discovered that camping without children is bliss - tranquil and easy-going. Quiet, simple, off- grid, camping in a beautiful setting is what Slightly Nomadic is all about.

It's a deliberately small pop up campsite by a lake.

We offer pre-pitched tents if you don't want the hassle of bringing one, cooking stove, crockery, chairs etc.

A secret escape where you can unwind for the weekend; take things slowly; enjoy being out in the fresh air; cooking over a campfire, listening to fish jumping.

    Camping dates for 2018:

    27th - 29th July

    3rd - 5th Aug

    17th - 19th Aug

    24th - 27th Aug ( Bank Holiday)

It’s a quiet space (no electronic music) just for tents, with vehicles parked nearby, but out of view.

On Friday nights we offer a hearty soup, which we'll have gently simmering on your arrival (please pre-order).

Finally, as the campsite is on a friend's vineyard, campers have the option of a vineyard tour and tasting and buying some super local wine from Albourne Estate.
